You'll forgive me if I don't show the same passion for BC football this week as in weeks past. Still, I'll give you the news about the Eagles being 6.5-point favorites on the road in Maryland. You know the story: the Terps are horrible (and that's being kind), and the Eagles are playing for basically nothing, as they're locked into some second-rate bowl game anyway.
BC has not played well in their last few games, while the Terps don't really do anything right. I think the spread is OK, since I can see this game being a little too close anyway. Still, it's not going to get much easier than this in an ACC game.
This spread is actually pretty generous for Maryland. There literally is not one redeeming quality for the Terps...100th ranked defense, 101st ranked offense...and they'll be without their 2 best weapons (QB Chris Turner, RB Da'Rell Scott).

I thought BC was going to beat UVA on the road by a couple scores myself, but they had to squeak by. BC SHOULD beat UMD comfortably but I have my doubts. They'll win, but they're very mediocre on the road.

ReplyDeleteI will be actually. I wasn't planning on it. But the end of the North Carolina game left a bad taste in my mouth and I'm not willing to let the last game I attend this year to be that one. So I scooped up a couple off stub hub (5 rows behind the BC bench) for 30 bucks...not bad.
