It's Donahue

According to Jeff Goodman of Fox Sports, "Boston College, per sources, expected to come to name Cornell coach Steve Donahue new coach replacing Al Skinner today."  WEEI also reported this morning that he is on campus for a second interview.  I can't believe there won't be a press conference today at this point.  If there is access to a live stream I will, of course, follow it.

Update: this is Goodman's FS article.

Update 2: Ed Cooley has been rewarded by Fairfield with an extension.

Update 3: The press conference will be TOMORROW afternoon, not this afternoon.

Even if GDF reached out, Brad Stevens was not happening.  There were three active candidates, and Donahue was the best of those three.

May I be the first to welcome Coach Donahue to Boston College.  We all wish you the best of success in your tenure here.
