The Boston College Eagles' men's hockey team are the 2010 National Champions. The final score, 5-0, was one that few people expected, but nevertheless, the party is on in Boston tonight. The Eagles goals were Smith, Atkinson, Kreider, Atkinson again, and Price. Cam Atkinson finished this season as the nation's top goal-scorer with 30.
It is BC's second national title in the last three seasons, their third under Jerry York, and their fourth overall. Also, the Hockey East conference has now won three championships in a row.
Rock on, BC hockey!
