ESPN has done its new college baseball bracketology, and Boston College has played themselves into the projected field of 64. Based upon this, the Eagles would be a #3 seed in the Norwich regional, playing UConn in the first round. Of course, there is a month for this to change, so likely this won't be quite the matchup, but in case it is, BC has lost to the Huskies earlier this season. For reference, BC was the third seed in their four-team regional last year.
We're not even one of the last five in, either: the Eagles went, with that sweep of NC State, from the 6th team out to at least 6th-to-last in. That's a pretty substantial move up the bubble in a week. With BC pushing their win streak out to 9 in a row on Tuesday, their standing could not have been hurt.
