First, let's talk about the men's hockey team who defeated Clarkson at the Conte Forum tonight, 6-5. Carl Sneep shot the game-winning 6th goal in the contest, while the other Eagles getting in the "G" column were Ben Smith, Chris Kreider, Cam Atkinson, Paul Carey, and Barry Almeida. With the win, #15 BC moves up to 6-3-2 on the young season.
Now then, there is also the matter of purchasing tickets online. From now until November 30th, BCEagles.com has a Black Friday sale where there are some big discounts on tickets. This morning, I bought a pair of decent tickets to BC/Maryland basketball on January 16th for $15 each, with no extra fees and no mailing costs. I paid $25 on StubHub for my basketball tickets last year (and the seats weren't that good), so this is definitely a sale you should consider if you want to get to Conte this season. It was quite a steal as far as BC tickets go.
One brief note to conclude: the women's soccer team is in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament, and faces #1 Stanford tonight (the lady Eagles are the 2 seed; #7 in the country). Best of luck to them.
