There were 4 conference championship games today and 1 of them was entertaining. Since they're not really worth rehashing, I've got some random thoughts from the day of basketball:
* If there were to be a Phil Donahue lookalike contest, Bobby Cremins should enter it.
* How many people are going to misspell Chattanooga between now and the first-round game?
* Gonzaga could be staring at a 4-seed right now.
* I think George Mason could make another Final Four run this year...in the NIT. But not if they play like they did tonight. GMU isn't the Cinderella flavor of the week anymore, so you won't hear anyone complaining about them not getting an at-large bid.
* I spoke too soon about the MAAC game being good...no thrilling finish here, either.
