...but BC did win another basketball game tonight, this one against godawful Virginia by a score of 68-55. Tyler Roche's senior night was a success, despite the fact that basically nobody was at Conte Forum to see it. The Eagles have now locked in to the 8th seed in the ACC Tournament, as no team below them can pass them. What we don't quite know yet is if Virginia will be passed for the 9th seed, which would cancel the rematch next week. The Eagles could also see North Carolina in the 8-9 game if things break the right away. I would feel pretty good about BC's chances of playing on Friday if they drew Virginia again.
Next, one more winnable game against NC State in Raleigh this weekend to end this regular season. A win there would mean BC had won 4 of 5 going into the ACC Tournament, and that would be fine by me. Anything positive is welcome at this point.
