Part of me doesn't even think most BC students would realize it, but yes, there are sports at our school other than football and men's basketball (and yes, you're allowed to attend the games). Plenty of Eagles teams fly (soar?) under the radar, and quite a few of them are doing well. It would be quite tedious to write a paragraph on all 31 varsity teams, but I can get through a few of them.
Football, men's basketball, and men's hockey: You already know quite a bit about them, and I'll take another look at hockey on Thursday. If I have time on Friday, I'll take a look at the men's basketball season.
Men's soccer: This team is making quite a charge lately. Their last two upsets have been over teams ranked #2 in the country, though as of 11/2, the team is unranked (overall record of 10-7). The ACC Tournament begins on the 10th in North Carolina, and their last regular-season game is on Newton Campus on Friday night against the Hokies.
Women's field hockey: The ladies finished a regular season at 13-5, and will begin their ACC Tournament against Wake Forest. Their 13 wins was the fourth-highest total in program history, despite the fact that they only went 1-4 in conference play. Their last game was against Wake Forest (ranked 6th in the country at the time), a game which BC lost, so they will get a second chance tomorrow to beat the Deacs.
Men's baseball: The Eagles had a brief series of fall baseball on the Heights: the Sonny Nictakis Fall World Series, an intrasquad match named after a late-'90s BC player who died of Hodgkin's disease in 2000. The Maroon team beat the Gold team two games to none; both Maroon wins were large comebacks. Kyle Prohovich helped lead the comeback in Game 1 and Mickey Wiswall did the same in Game 2.
Women's soccer: The women begin their ACC Tournament tonight after an impressive regular season of 15-2-1 and a #7 ranking. The Eagles were the ACC regular-season champions for the first time and they're looking for their seventh-straight NCAA Tournament appearance.

Yeah, I forgot to mention sailing...they had another big year also. There are just so many BC sports to follow that it's almost impossible to keep up with all of them all the time, but I do plan on little updates like this every now and then.
