New college football polls: BC moving up (slightly)

The AP and Coaches Polls have been released, and the Eagles moved up on one but disappeared from another.  In the AP, Boston College is now the 35th team, up from 39th, having garnered 19 votes (as opposed to 14 last week, and 9 in the first poll).  Again, big thanks to Ray Ratto of the San Francisco Chronicle and Barker Davis of the Washington Times for believing in the Eagles when we don't even believe that much in ourselves.  For what it's worth, the next team on the schedule, Clemson, is 37th, having gotten only ten votes.

Meanwhile, the Coaches Poll dropped Boston College from the "other teams receiving votes" category entirely, which is ridiculous considering the Eagles won by 27 points.  In the Week 1 poll, BC got three votes.  But these coaches all know best, right?
