Today's opening day for the first Star Trek movie in six and a half years. I, for one, will be seeing it, but I will not be dressed as a Romulan and have not practiced my Klingon pick-up lines. If anyone wants to volunteer their services for Ferengi oo-mox, then I will consider it.

Anyway, the Yankees travel to Balitmore on a five-game losing streak, looking like they've been gutted and hung on Theo Epstein's mantle, a no-name leads at TPC Sawgrass, and the media still won't let Brett Favre go. I could use the break tonight.
