* 2 cycles in 3 days? Wowsers. Ian Kinsler of Texas follows up Orlando Hudson's act on Monday. That's gotta be some kind of record interval for time between cycles, not to mention the fact that the season isn't even 2 weeks old yet and we already have 2 cycles.
* Daisuke, Carpenter, and Nady all to the DL. For Carpenter and Cardinals fans there must be a sense of deja vu.
* Wakefield nearly pitched a no hitter, but more importantly for the Sox, they needed the win badly. 2-7 would have been quite bad to take back to Fenway (not that 3-6 is much better).
* Florida is the best team in baseball at the moment. AT THE MOMENT.
* The Padres dealing with passed balls/wild pitches tonight was worthy of a blooper reel.
* Pretty sure Griffey is having fun back in Seattle.
